Got a great set of vintage yamaha td/tz brakes from yoshi's. These are gonna end up on the 750 norton project..

  1. Sweet! What type of frame are you gonna use? Also, does that front twin leading shoe brake, have a stiffing kit,for it? Got one for my twin leading Norton front brake,so the brake shoes won't cup in the brake drum! Comes with longer cams, and a plate that sits on the brake shoes. That way, when the brake is applied, all of the shoe meets the drum surface, not just the edge of it.

  2. There is no stiffener for the td drum, it is an odd size and i only know of the one they make for the norton drum. I am using the front part of a matchless n15 frame and will be transforming it into a rigid.

  3. Nice!......I'm looking into have the Commando frame hardtailed, but will also have to have stronger front motor mounts also. Due to how much the Commando engine shakes, but do have a crank that's balanced at 64%,instead of the stock 52%.....Mine will be smoother at higher rpm's,then the stock crank.
